In case you do not receive North Star’s printed newsletter, Liberated Learners, here is our Fall 2020 edition that just came out. You can meet current member Sam Kleinman-Eddy, and hear both his and his mother Sara’s description of how his switch from conventional schooling to self- directed learning has changed his life. You can also meet two of our extended staff: Gil Kim and Claudia Santillan. Gil is one of our UMass students that offer our impressive range of tutorials, and she has been an important part of our community for the past year. Claudia is our Americorps Service Member this year, and her full-time commitment to North Star energizes our world. Enjoy!
