It turns out that Omicron has me down, along with millions of others. (The family Christmas dinner was a spreader event.) Thanks to my vaccines and booster, and the support of our Montague friends delivering various tinctures and teas, I hope to be back up before long. Just in time to Get Down again, this time with the rest of the Home Town!

We are back for Year Two of this musical extravaganza on January 28-29! Organized by North Star: Self-Directed Learning for Teens, The Institute for Musical Arts, and The Shea Theater, this two-day concert will feature both alumni of our programs and major local musicians interested in promoting the musical arts and opportunities for teens. The list of performers is thrilling! The emcees are spectacular! The sponsors are generous! The event is online – no virus risk to tune in!

This event is free to the community, and to friends around the world. Concertgoers will be invited to make a donation to support our three mutually supportive and overlapping non-profit organizations.

This is an event to look forward to all month, and to get you ready here is the full back story of how this event came into being: our fun and interesting conversation with Tara Brewster on her Western Mass Business Show.
